This committee's role is to advise the TASA executive committee on various issues that will be brought to advisory committee's attention by the current President and/or President-Elect. This committee will meet with the entire Executive Committee atleast once a year and more on, "as needed basis" to provide guidance interms of issues, sense of direction and more. At this time, every President that competes his/her tem will automatically become part of this Advisory Committee and once it reaches a threshold of 6 members, the first one that is part of this committee is excused as the 7th member comes in and will follow in the order the members joined. It is an honorary committe for the past presidents to share their experiences and bring in the intellectual capital that they built in the community to support and advise the current executive committee.  Again, the role is simply in ADVISORY capacity only and are not part of the day today business of the current executive committee.
